Exploring space within existing structures, Michael Reuter physically engages the porous boundaries
between us. Through experimentation he applies layer upon layer of mark making and form development.
Juxtaposing the visible with the invisible to confront self, identity and reality. In an effort to invert traditional
representation, the paintings and sculptures offer a figurative rawness to them. Navigating the viewer into a
visually available state where a dialect can occur.
